Hampton Boys finish 2nd in Chesapeake Invitational Varsity B

The Hampton High Boys Cross Country team finished 2nd out of 12 teams in the Varsity B race on Saturday at Bells Mill Park in Chesapeake, showing just how far the Crabber program has improved over the past couple of years. Led by sophomore Cory Burke (2nd overall) and senior Jordan Overby (6th), the Crabbers also placed 15th (sophomore Donald Cleckner), 29th (sophomore Justin Jackson), 30th (freshman Jordan Edgar), 39th (sophomore Skyler Hutcheson) and 61 (Antonio Wood) out of 119 runners.

Saw the race and I am impressed with the young Crabber team. The Coach there is doing a great job building the program. While Gloucester, Menchville, and Kecoughtan may be the teams to beat this year, they better look out for the Crabbers in the future.
