I was pleased to see a good deal of XC coverage in Sunday's Sports page. The article on Kristina Woodard was overdue, and it was good to see a brief preview of the upcoming championship meets. I was also glad to see the results of the Hampton City Meet, with both the Varsity top ten individuals and the JV individual winner. Hopefully that format will be used in the years to come, as it is always nice to give our younger local athletes the exposure they deserve. I'm just wondering why the same wasn't done for the Walsingham Invitational, especially when a Warwick runner won the JV race at an invitational for the second time this season.
