Cox senior Brinson Paolini shot a 1-under-par 71 to finish with a two-day score of 141 and win his second state Group AAA individual golf championship. He made seven birdies on the final day, recapturing the crown he won as a sophomore.
James River won the team crown at nearby Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, while Kellam was second, six strokes behind. Defending champ Cox finished seventh.
