Loudoun County continued on its path to the state finals for yet another year downing Chancellor in 4 games; 25-17, 25-14, 16-25, 25-16. The victory came before a seemingly familiar crowd for Loudoun County many of which were rooting for their "home" team during the match. Standout performers for Loudoun County: Shaylin O’Connell [Sr. #8] (14 kills), Juliane Hanna [Jr. #15] (12 kills), and Rochelle Latka [Jr. #9] (9 kills).
Chancellor played a very tentative match having a majority of their offensive attacks dug with ease. The head coach of Chancellor, Rod Crooks, was stated, "To come out on the biggest stage and perform like that, I don't have an answer," "It’s beyond me. I've never seen them play that way. I don't think they can figure it out. I can't figure it out. I've never seen them in a practice or a game play the way they played."
