Menchville vs. Heritage Wrestling Results
Monarchs score big with pins. The Menchville Monarchs used 7 pins, 1 Major decision, and 2 forfeits to take down Heritage, 56-19. This win was the first home win for the Monarchs. The Monarchs lost the first match of the night, but then rattled off 4 wins in a row. After giving up a forfeit the Monarchs were back in the winning way, winning the next 4 matches again. Nathan Mullen lost the match of the night 9-11. Nathan has been out for the last week and a half with a knee injury. He showed a lot of heart, and nearly pulled off the victory in the last seconds. The Monarchs followed that match up with 2 pins, and the dual ended with Menchville losing by pin. Over all it was an amazing night. We had Nathan Mullen, and new comer Daniel Sullivan stepped up big with solid performances. The Monarchs will next see action on January 7th when they travel to Hampton to wrestle against Hampton and Woodside.
