Timia Hobbs scored 20 points to lead visiting Franklin past Tri-Rivers rival Surry County 76-44. Using their quickness, the Broncos jumped to a 41-16 halftime lead and kept their edge throughout. Kiara Lee (16 points), Keshara Bradley (13), Pashawn Hunter (13) and Iesha Boone (11) also led Franklin (6-3, 2-0). Britney Johnson led Surry (4-4, 1-1).
