The problem is that the skill level was not the same. Defending champs and McDonald All Stars vs. Kids that have never had the opportunity to play in organized sports. Dallas Academy is a newer school that the well established and connected Covenant School who have been playing for a long time and McDonald All Stars. From a parent perspective that is well aware of sports they should have “walked the game”. But, the problem was margin and the celebration afterward which humiliated the girls and their disabilities. Some of those girls never had the opportunity to ever play organized sports. Where was the Christian love then? Everyone knew they were going to win. Its just a way to win. And, it has nothing to do with being PC and non PC (politcal correctness) because I would have said this even if the girls were not learning different. I do not have children that attend either school, but when I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s we walked games where there was a severe difference in talent and skill level. And, it was never fun to win by such a margin. In fact it was downright boring. But they (I guess) tried to make it fun by poking fun at the other team. Too bad there was not an adult on the Covenant team that disciplined them right then. Try to restrain yourself Covenant. God don’t like ugly. Now they have to forfeit the entire season which is good. You may want to watch Fox 4 in Dallas.
