well.... I am not a player... but i will say that a red card for taunting after the heritage kid did the same thing is retarded. 9 vs 11 for most of the 2nd half... and i think we all know that woodside had their chances.. missed pk about 10 shots within the box missed. The funny part was the warwick guys talking smack on the sideline and running as soon as the game was over... yea it was bevens...and some other guys... but thats irelevant... woodside should of could of but didnt win the game.. The final spot will be determined tommorrow...

1. BHS wins and they are in
2. WoHS wins ans bethel ties.....
3 way tie between heritage bethel and woodsode
3. BHS loses, WOHS wins, HHS loses... playoff game between HHS and WOHS.

ANything can happen in soccer... As we saw.. WoHS played hard vs. KHS and then went out and lost a winnable game... but the doesnt mean warwick is a regional caliber team... Oh and next time you warwick guys talk ****... reallly don't run away as soon as the players come off the field to your direction. Bevens is a good player.. but he has a crappy attitude...

Yes i agree with you very much about Warwick I dont believe there are a regional caliber team and will finish 4th in the district and are the fourth best team not third. But then mabey they will pull an upset agian this year. No one knows

I happened to be present at this game. And I am mutual observer of PD soccer and have been for about 5 years. I enjoy seeing a good game, no matter the opponent, and today's game was not a good one. No, the game was not decided by the referees at all. Woodside clearly lost this game, take nothing away from Heritage, but the game was lost by Woodside more than it was won by Heritage. Woodside must have outshot Heritage by at least 20 or 30 shots and probably more than half of those shots went straight to the keeper. A missed pk, and about 10 shots from the pk spot to the six yard line were sent straight to the keeper when they could easily have been goals. Heritage capitalized on nearly all their opportunities. All in all, props to Heritage because they won the game, no excuses.

PROPS TO HERITAGE! they capitazized on all our mistakes. we had like 40 shots and shanked most of them badly. they tried hard and beat us in the end. speaking of the refs yeathey **** , we get unfair calls and so on, no use beating that old horse because we all know the refs blow. the cards were rediculous red for taunting when i was taunted back jeeeze aneways heritage good game, we ****** badly . no excuses we lost this game. and jamie broke his jaw probably and is out now. so i hope we come thru tomorro vs hampton, and all of us that cant play are going to the phoebus bethel game to pull some warwick antics ahah sike, but we need bethel to lose so yea. last spot is up for grabs anyone good luck.. and to the warwick kids who come and run what else do u guyz have to do get a life.

No, you're not going to hear from us about how the refs suc.k, etc. It's too late for that, and no one cares what any complaining team has to say anyways. Of all of the games this year, that was the ONE we should have won. Bottom line is, everything was on the line, and we played our poorest game of the season. Burnt out from a good showing against KHS? Possibly, but its still no excuse.

I could care less that Warwick fans showed up to heckle us, every team in the PD is used to them by now, but it's completely classless to taunt a player on the ground injured.

Whatever, it's been a **** of a year to say the least, and its not even over yet. Good luck to all fighting for a spot.

They really weren't that bad today, I just thought it was pretty low brow and ignorant to be told I was "faking", "needed a pillow", "a little *****", etc, when I went down after a firm kick to the same tibia thats been injured all year.

yea, off day to say the least, but we played horribly, had at leat 25 shots and most either went directly to keeper or way over. but I got a red for taunting( idn) number 18 was dribbling down field yelling wooo woo woo while he was carrying the ball up so after i knocked it away i started yelling WOO WOO WOOO WOO WOO and the ref said i was directing it at a specific player, which he said is an automatic red, even though he was doing it first but o well. and my boy Robert adams got his because he went in to tackle for the ball and the other player stuck his leg out to kick it and rob ran into him and he kinda spun around or something( i didnt see it , this is just what i hear, i was in the locker room at the time) and then he got and yelled WOOO or something and the ref sent him off.
Also Jamie dislocated his jaw and can't play for a while.

Hello all soccer fans. I have a few minor issues to discuss with you...

1. GO CANES!

2. I had a conversation with the ref after the game against woodside. The ref said he called the first red card because of an alleged "jump" or "lunge" at the 'Cane striker. The ref said he saw the defender make a threatening move or was looking to instigate a fight. The red was NOT for taunting, which is why the "cane player did not get a card.

3. The second red was deserving simply because the play on the field was getting more violent and less soccer-like. Very simply, people were letting their emotions get the best of them.

4. Yes, woodside had many a golden opportunity to get goals, but please don't forget that the 'Canes also had quite a few misseed opportunities as well.

5. Teams should recognize that the 'Canes have been getting stronger and stronger from year to year and that they should be congratulated for their efforts to make the final spots of the playoffs a lot more interesting. No more to be taken lightly.

6. GO 'Canes!!!! Beat Warwick!

As of 20 minutes left in the Bethel-Phoebus game this evening, Bethel was two goals closer to clinching the number 6 spot. Something may have happened since that point.

Heritage player, much respect to your improving program down there. The win the other day is just another example of why nobody can take anybody too lightly. Thanks for showing some class with the win. I can think of a top 6 team that can't do that...

The first red card was for taunting... and it is a reason to give a red... you cant give a red card for a player lunging or running at someone. The coach at Woodside was also told that was the reason for the red. Either way, 9 vs 11 is hard for anyone to overcome and 2 of their starters were injured. Give respect for them scoring while down 2 men and it was a good game... Good luck to all teams next year who are out...

I did not in any way lunge at that ****ing player, i didnt instigate a fight, i didnt have anything against the kid. you dont no what you are talking bout and neither did the ref, so jump off buddy. i went over myself personally to the kid and the whole heritage team and shook every one of their hands like a man when they are defeated. So whatever the ref thinks is garbage. I yelled woo woo woo and thats it , anything else is news to me. Heritage good luck next year.

P.S. PD do some damage this year in the playoffs.
