View Full Version : Southeast Rankings Update-Chase McAdams 7th

Just checked the SE Rankings and found an update with Chase McAdams, Poquoson, ranked 7th at 152. Didn't he beat #2 Jason Luster (Woodbury Forest, VA)?
Interestingly, Chase is also ranked 5th at 160, ahead of Derek Woody (Christiansburg) and Clint Allala (Hopewell). I don't think I have ever seen a wrestler ranked in two weight classes. Good job, Chase.
Can't wait to see the updated national rankings. Shouldn't this put him in the top 20?

Virginia pretty much owns every one of those lists

In a very small blurb to be in the Daily Press today, our BRD wrestlers currently ranked within the Southeast Regional rankins, were mentioned. Mr. Burke lists Chase McAdams accomplishment with the following statement:
"And in an oddity, Poquoson's Chase McAdams is No. 7 at his normal weight of 152, but is fifth at 160, a weight he's wrestled at several times this year."
So is he saying it's odd that Chase is ranked, or odd that he is ranked in two separate weight classes? I would be forward to say that it is quite an accomplishment to be ranked in the top 10 of the SE Region of just ONE weight class. To be ranked in TWO weight classes is astonishing and is just proof of the magnitude of his wrestling to this point in the season.

I would have to say that Chase is the class of the BRD today.
Just to be clear; I am a huge Andrew Williams fan, and I have been pulling for these two wrestlers all year, but I think Chase looks determined to get that elusive title and I would say he is a lock for a title this year but I don't want to jinks him.
Good luck to Chase and all the Poq wrestlers in their quest for a title...
you too Andrew; stay focused and don't let Brewtus down...4 in a row baby!
