menchville vs gloucester

what on earth happened? :eek: anyone have any details?

This was a great game.

Menchville's defense was outstanding and their pitcher was hitting her spots very well. Gloucester was hitting the ball, but Menchville's outfield was on the spot. Center field especially made one great diving catch. Gloucester's pitcher
did an outstanding job as well and was placing pitches very well. Menchville was in scoring position a few times but Gloucester's defense held them. The plate ump is new this year and made some interesting calls, but I am sure this is part of the learning curve. The eight inning senior T Saulman
got on base with a double and Freshman C. Robb had a nice hit-double which drove the run in. A very exicitng game played very well by both teams.
