The media cannot change my view on Mike Vick. He's a wonderful player who seems to only be guilty of being too loyal to his friends. I come from the same area as Vick and I understand what dog fighting is to some people. It means a lot because you train this vicious breed of dog into a warrior to fight. 23 months is a stiff sentence to give someone when where they come from dog fighting is considered an actual sport. I really hope the Hampton Roads area knows that we lost a great person for 2 years. I loved his story of from downtown NN to the NFL. Out of HS he was always the second best QB in the area but ended up going number 1 overall in the NFL draft. Now PETA and all animal protection groups can say what they want but they will never change my views on Vick. Much respect to Vick thanks for all the highlights especially the game winning TD run against the Vikings in the playoffs whatever year that was. You will forever go down as my favorite number 7 and I pray after these 23 months are over you are given another chance becayse dogfighting charges shouldn't keep you out of football forever you are a special talent!
