Who does everyone think is the player of the year for the PD girls soccer? My vote goes to GHS Heidi Lancaster-Taylor the backbone of the team their goalie. She was not scored upon in all district games. DHS Dani Gunderson has to come in second. Who does everyone else give their vote too.

Niether got it, but the tie included them. A GHS senior took the title this year...
No offense, but it is hard to vote a goalie who in many games this season has not touched the ball. GHS is that good. I know in our game the goalie may have touched it once or twice and that is only becasue she came out to play...

I'll second that. I understand she had less than 50 shots against her all season. You put that team in frony of our goalie and we would have had the same result.
Our goalie was under fire the entire season. Over 230 shots to defend. That averages 26 per game, with the top teams shooting in excess of 40 shots a game.

I had hoped to see her make at least 2nd team. The coach was definitely rallying for her to get it. BHS has built up significantly since last year. Thats is awesome!
