Region I Pairings
REGION I TOURNAMENT
Quarterfinals, Monday, May 28 Courtland (Battlefield No. 2) at New Kent (Bay Rivers District champion), 5 Grafton (Bay Rivers No. 3) at Powhatan (Southside champion), 2 Nottoway (Southside No. 2) at Chancellor(Battlefield District champion), 1:30 Poquoson (Bay Rivers No. 2) at Nandua (Eastern Shore), 5 Semifinals, Wednesday, May 30First two winners play at highest seed Second two winners play at highest seed Championship, Friday, June 1 Semifinal winners play at highest seed Upper bracket: Powhatan is top-seeded and would host the semifinals game by winning in the QF. New Kent is the second seed and would host by winning, if Powhatan loses. Lower bracket: Nandua is the top seed and would host by winning in the QF. Chancellor is the second seed.
