Doubles final (1 p.m. Saturday): Semifinal winners.

GIRLS OUTLOOK: The singles could be unpredictable, though Blow could be the favorite. She’s healthy, she’s playing well and she’s coming off last weekend’s team title with the Eagles. Rogers has found playing against Blow troublesome but should be highly motivated — these are the Cox star’s final high school matches before she heads to Southern Mississippi for college. Nimitz won last year’s title and is headed to James Madison, but she is struggling with a high ankle sprain. Zhang was one set away from the crown last year and would love to take it. In doubles, several teams have a chance.

BOYS SCHEDULE: Singles quarterfinals (9 a.m. Thursday; regional champions listed first): Philip Parrish (Douglas Freeman) vs. Chris Hincker (Patrick Henry of Roanoke); Ben Wirth (Ocean Lakes) vs. Sidarth Balaji (Fairfax); Bo Edwards (Patrick Henry of Roanoke) vs. Kyle Parker (Mills Godwin); Drew Courtney (Robinson) vs. Stas Stekolstsikov (Granby).
Doubles quarterfinals (1 p.m. Thursday; regional champions listed first): Parker-Kevin Calhoun (Mills Godwin) vs. Balaji-Cezar Constantine (Fairfax); Wirth-Ryan Suit (Ocean Lakes) vs. George Gianakos-Charlie Andrews (E.C. Glass); Courtney-Stephen Hardy (Robinson) vs. Shad Harrell-Chris Cosby (Mills Godwin); Edwards-Hincker (Patrick Henry) vs. Tonique Merrell-Creighton Jones (Heritage).
Singles semis (9 a.m. Friday): Parrish-Hincker winner vs. Wirth-Balaji winner; Edwards-Parker winner vs. Courtney- Stekolstsikov winner.
Doubles semis (1 p.m. Friday): Godwin (Parker-Calhoun)-Fairfax winner vs. Ocean Lakes-E.C. Glass winner; Robinson-Godwin (Harrell-Cosby) winner vs. Patrick Henry-Heritage winner.
Singles final (9 a.m. Saturday): Semifinal winners.
Doubles final (1 p.m. Saturday): Semifinal winners.

BOYS OUTLOOK: Courtney, a powerful Ram who is ranked 19th nationally in the junior class by tennisrecruiting.net, is pursuing his second consecutive sweep of the team, singles and doubles crowns, but it will be far from easy. This singles field is one of the best in years. Balaji, who stands second in the state to Courtney, upset him in the regular season. Wirth, a left-handed boomer headed to William and Mary, can beat anybody if he’s at his best. Edwards, the 2005 state runner-up, and Parker are small but powerful and talented. Parrish, headed to UNC Greensboro, has plenty of variety and changes pace well. Hincker. bound for Delaware, would love to upstage his fellow PH senior, Edwards. After losing the Northwest Region final, Hincker told the Roanoke Times, "… I don’t particularly like him. It’s no secret." The doubles could be a good show, with Courtney and Hardy looming as the favorites.
