* PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Bailey Wilcox (Riverbend)
A great all-around player, Bailey led her team in scoring with 30 goals. She scored both goals
in Riverbend’s state finals win. Selected a second team Washington Post All-Met, she was
also a District and Regional POY. Bailey will play for East Carolina University this fall.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Becca Berry (Riverbend)
In only their third year of Varsity competition, Berry led her team to a perfect 23-0-0 season
and the school’s first state championship of any kind. Under Coach Berry’s guidance,
Riverbend has become one of the dominant soccer programs in the state at any level.
Riverbend finished with a #4 Region II ranking and a #18 National ranking in the NSCAA’s
Final Spring “Top 20” poll.
