Poquoson loses to Courtland

Luke Sellers scored 16 points and made four 3-pointers to lead Courtland to a 40-34 win over visiting Poquoson in a Region I first-round game near Fredericksburg.

Courtland (18-7), which hosts Park View of South Hill on Thursday, outscored the Islanders 17-4 in the fourth quarter.

Eric Nixon scored 11 points and Chad Pinder had 10 for Poquoson (18-8).

The Islanders led 21-14 at halftime.
