Walsingham Academy fell 55-40 Saturday to Roland Park of Baltimore in the championship game of the Walsingham Lady Trojans Classic despite 15 points from Gabby Horne and eight from Kendra Stone, both of whom made the all-tournament team.
MVP Jasmine Barksdale scored 15 and Daisy Aleaze-Dinma 13 for Roland Park, which outscored the Trojans 18-6 in the second quarter for a 30-13 halftime lead.
Walsingham coach Kevin Williams was ejected for receiving two technical fouls, saying those were the first he'd gotten in 20 years of coaching.
