Why is Soccer listed as an Other Sport ?
Given the number of total people playing and the number of forum posts why is soccer listed under OTHER SPORTS ???? It's not a secondary sport... I think the DP should recognize the fact...

Re: Why is Soccer listed as an Other Sport ?
I agree....seems like soccer leads all the threads and discussions...but then again...we are in season... once football and basketball comes around I bet you there will be more trash talking then ever....It did only start up about 2 months ago anyways... I would vote to get it on the main page for soccer...right on

Yeah and they should probably think about spliting the BRD and PD into two different sections like they do with all of the other sports. It would just simplify things.

probably because on the old site all anyone talked about was football yearlong and a lil basketball and baseball while in season. atleast you have a forum now. so just chill out and be happy.

Re: Why is Soccer listed as an Other Sport ?
On the old message board, most of the spring talk centered on baseball. So when we set up these forums, I split baseball into various districts. I didn't break any of the other spring sports because there wasn't much talk about those sports last year.
However, based on the volume of soccer talk, which I'm very happy about, we'll split the forum into separate districts during the off-season. The only problem with doing it now is we can't split messages into specific new forums. So for the rest of this season, I'll leave soccer as one forum, then during the summer, I'll break them out separately. Same thing for any sport that gets a lot of traffic. For example, the tennis boards aren't getting much use, so they'll stay combined ... until the traffic level says otherwise. Lynn Burke
