8/31: West Point 35, Chincoteague 0
The Pointers’ Antonio Roane ran for 108 yards on 10 carries and scored on a 40-yard fumble recovery in Chincoteague. West Point (1-0) scored its points in the first half.
Aaron Roane added 64 yards on 10 carries, scoring on runs of 3 and 4 yards. Terron Parker ran for 80 yards on eight carries and scored on a 3-yard run. Quarterback Josh Ammons scored on a 3-yard run and passed for 17 yards. The Ponies (0-1) were held to five first downs and rushed for 41 yards on 26 carries.
