Brooke Bettencourt scored three goals as Norfolk Academy completed an unbeaten run through the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools with a 6-1 victory over Cape Henry on Friday in the tournament championship game.
The Bulldogs, ranked No. 1 in Hampton Roads and seventh nationally by MaxFieldHockey.com, won their 12th straight game and repeated as TCIS Tournament champs.
Joji Purdy, Lizzie Adams and Ashley Huddleston also scored for Norfolk Academy, while Rylee Brooks-Booth scored for Cape Henry.
The Bulldogs’ Huddleston was named the tournament MVP.
