Standings

Now that we are almost 5 games into the season for all teams.
What is everyone's opinion of where the teams stand heading
into Spring break. Any surprises? What do you think....

I think the biggest surprise has been Gloucester. Most people thought they would be near the bottom but they have been very competitive so far. They could be a top 4 team or better before the season is out.

Menchville has cruised against the weaker teams but were tested by Woodside and Gloucester. The Hampton vs. Menchville match-up Thursday could be interesting.

It's hard to figure out Denbigh because they have had the toughest schedule to this point. If they don't bounce back quickly it could be a long season for the Patriots. I still think they will make the tournament.

Unfortunately, Heritage and Phoebus just don't have enough overall talent to compete but do have a couple players to watch.

Re: Standings

After seeing most of the teams play, there is no dominate team. Everyone can beat everyone on any given day. Look at the scores. Most of them are tight ballgames. It should be an exciting ending to the season.
