Past PD Players Thread

What happened to the thread with all the links to previous area players? I thought it was great to see where all the local kids were at and how they were doing. Was that a violation of the forum rules and got deleted or was it moved somewhere else?

Re: Past PD Players Thread

Dave Johnson, thank you for the Alumni Notes. Keep up the good work. It's always great to hear how some of the former PD players are performing at the next level. Here's a couple of recent ones you may have missed.

Brandon Delk, Longwood (Warwick, 2011) went 2-4 with 4 RBI in the Longwood 9-7 victoryover ODU this past Tuesday. He is currently hitting .307 with 3 HRs and 20 RBI. You can read more about him at the below link.

Dakari Cooke, Army, (Bethel, 2011) was recently selected as the "Patriots League Rooke of the Week." You can read more about him at the below link.

Longwood (Delk, Myers,Vick) will be at W&M this Monday, May 14th. Game starts at 7 pm.

I know you speak the "Truth" but I think in this case you meant "Brandon Delk" not "Vick"

That would be major news if Longwood had a starting freshman pitcher hitting .307

Glad to see Dakari doing well at West Point.

Do you know probable pitchers for the W&M game (Vick or Myers)?

Thank, correction noted and made.

Likewise, it good to see Dakari doing well at West Point as well. With the educational and physical requirements, it has to be extremely difficult to play sports as well.

As far as probable pitchers for the W&M game, Vick starts and Myers relieves, so you just never know.

Likely a problem with the dumb*** who cleans the spam out of the forum.

That would be, of course, me.

We get so much spam that you don't see that when I clean out the spam posts every day, I sometimes mistakenly nip a good thread in the process. It's my fault completely.

At least this is better than the PD soccer thread where I nuked two perfectly good threads on back-to-back days.

Again, my apologies.

Lynn
