I want to take this time to say to all those that I may have offended recently when I made some comments to people being called groupies or anything else. I got carried away and I apologize for that or anything else I may have stated to be offensive. I am a Phoebus Phantom fan at heart but not at the expense of going outside of the integrity of this forum or any other sites. I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong. Again I apologize. With this being said, Let's Get Ready For Some Football!

Man you dont have to apologize for whats said on a forum, some people are actually haters, stans and groupies..

That's just who I am now. I'm trying not to maintain any bad habits that I've had in the past. It's a work in progress but I believe I can disagree with others on here without having to stoop to certain levels to get my point across. I'm only speaking for myself.

I like this board I think it is fun b/c you have fans of different teams coming on here offering different opinions and sometimes poking fun at one another though i will say this just b/c we don't have the same opinion all the time doesn't mean we hate...or that we are haters i don't expect a person who doesn't like my team to ever show support towards my team and they are reserved to have the right never to show any support towards my squad...that's how I view but also it wouldn't be fun w/o some of the jokes either or trash talk in sports and as fans humility is part of the game sometimes we have to eat a little crow...but that's what make it fun b/c nothing is better than being right or when your boys win so i would say keep rep'n your team i personally don't think you went too far we all are adults....i take that back we all are adults even though one of us think he is still a child ...

I agree that trash talk is entertaining, but there is also a thin line between trash talk and just flat out being irrational. When it becomes offensive then it's going too far. As far as haters goes, personally, I don't even entertain them anymore. Secondly I don't consider an objective opinion about Phoebus from a forum member being a hater. However, it is alarming how many members fly to this site when Phoebus loses or struggles in a game but when Phoebus accomplishes something great like winning several titles in a row, this forum is quiet except for mostly the Phoebus fans celebrating. Even last year's state title game for example, instead of paying homage to what an accomplishment it was, someone had to come on here and complain about the lack of fans traveling to Charlottesville. Really? I mean, it's a legitimate topic for sure, but not on the day that Phoebus won the title. At least sit back and let the Phantoms bask in their glory for at least that day. It's like a team winning a Super Bowl but yet all someone wants to talk about some is ugly hat the coach may have had on. I said all this to say if you can constantly criticize a team, be a man/woman enough to pay homage to them in their success whether it's Phoebus or whomever. Me personally, I'm bias towards Phoebus but if we don't make it out the region then whomever represents the 757 has my full support!
