Tabb cheers to region crown
Just as it won the Bay Rivers District crown last week, Tabb took the Region I cheerleading championship Wednesday night.
The Tigers performed a routine scoring 283 ˝ points and were followed by Poquoson (256), host Lafayette (245) and Caroline (242). Those teams will advance to the state competition Nov. 10 in Virginia Commonwealth University’s Siegel Center.
Tabb is coached by Shelley Pagan and Shelley Neale.
The team members are: Lindsey Arthur, Emily Cowan, Chelsea Feller, Madison Franks, Emilee Geer, Bethany Gomez, Courtney Guy, Hilary Huff, Lindsey Kent, Ashley Laney, Kristy Pate, Taylor Pate, Kelly Regas, Megan Russell, Sarah Serio, Audrey Smith, Angel Tirado, Crystal Trace, Alicia Urquhart, Alivia Urquhart, Lisa Wallace, Brittany Wilson and Nicole Wise.
