Middlesex (16-4, 8-0) continued its march to the Tidewater District championship, officially clinching a tie for it by beating Mathews 64-47 in Saluda behind four double-figure scorers. Sherita Burse had 18 points, Kiersten Baylor added 11 points and 12 rebounds, Katrina Reed had 10 points and six assists and Micah Reed had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Chargers. Brianna Miales led the Blue Devils (12-5, 5-3) with 19 points.
