VIRGINIA BEACH -- First Colonial won the boys title and Bayside took the girls crown at the Beach District spring track & field meet Thursday afternoon at Landstown High School.

First Colonial finished with 126 points, with Bayside closest with 87. On the girls' side. Bayside squeaked past second-place Landstown, 150 to 146.

The top six finishers in the individual events, as well as the top three finishers in the relay races, advance to the Eastern Region meet, which will be held May 25 and 26 at Todd Stadium in Newport News.
