Phantomfan.... I agree Coach Sexton was a GREAT grab for Warwick. It was smart also. I mean with ALL of the great coaches in the area ESPECIALLY on the PD, how in the world do you get someone that's not proven. Someone that goes 0-10 in AA ball, and then bring them to D6 PENNINSULA DISTRICT ball..... BOY that's a gamble. I think the worse part though was that there isn't any continuity and anyone there that knows how things work here. That's REALLY impportant. People and players rally behind PROVEN leaders and coaches. There are PLENTY of assistant high school as well as rec league coaches here in the PD that are VERY knowledgable that could've filled that spot. But you need to have someone on your staff that knows how to move and shake and get the intangable things done on a team also. I hope for the school, coaching staff, and especially the players that the "gamble" the administration took pays off. Again good luck to them.
