Just a FYI Troy and Cat (and rest of BWSL) will be playing the Harrison Twins on ESPNU Wednesday night at 7pm

When I suggested prep school more than a year ago on this post, people said I was crazy. Just about every other top player in the country plays at some type of prep program and they go against the best players all of the time. I mentioned that the step up in competition and coaching would help his development. People on this post said he was developed enough because of his ranking and would be fine. Check out the new ESPN rankings. He is ranked in the 40's, now. He didn't get any better and his classmates passed him due to a lack of development. Rodney Bullock needs to make the move also. Some of the scouts at the EYBL games at the Boo Center were fascinated with his dunks, but found it hard to evaluate the other parts of his game because nothing else in his game stands out. Troy needs to go and develop. He will be fine, but he really needs to go and work hard on his game. I think he took the time off because of his ranking and didn't work to improve. The politics can only take you so far. You have to perform at some point. I wish Troy Williams the best in all of his pursuits and I really hope he learns how to work at this craft. It is worth too much money to him and his family for him to chill.

She probably wanted better coaching and better competition. Kind of what we have been saying. I don't think she wanted him to leave solely because they didn't stop the game and give him a ball when he scored his 1,000th pt. Even though I still don't understand why Phoebus didn't set that up. I believe he achieved it on his home court too. Go, work hard, and keep the 757 on the map.

Yeah she wanted better coaching i think they both were fed up with last season she expressed with anger several times last season with the phoebus coaching staff and the fact that his son basically does what he wants and don't play with the highest basketball IQ. Your right it wasn't solely on that 1,000th point but that really upset them and played a major factor too. After the season it was no secrete he was going to leave the only question was where would he land we all knew he wasn't going to another public school.

I think we saw a clear difference between elite players and good players. The Harrison twins are elite. Did you see the size, handle, shooting ability, and defense. They have the total package. Barber is waay too small weight and strength-wise. Hopefully he will get a personal trainer for this year.
