Beach district power and some people's favorite for the D6 crown Ocean Lakes is now 0-6.

They were using an ineligible player who transferred from another Beach school and used the coaches address without actually moving. Of course, Ocean Lakes will appeal but rumor is the player in question is the starting HB and S so the appeal will not work.

This is a shame because now Lakes will not make the playoffs at 4-6 (if they win their next 4 games; I expect players to quit). This is big news for other Division 6 teams including PD's own Woodside. If everything plays out like it should Woodside will get a #2 or #3 seed at worst.

Let's not also forget that Bayside stil has to play Ocean Lakes and when OL beats Green Run they'll be 1-6 and if Bayside beats Kemspville they'll be 7-0.

It'll be 1-6 Ocean Lakes against 7-0 Bayside...and unless the teams give up on the season Lakes will beat Bayside and they'd get little to no power points from that loss.

Woodside only loss will be to unbeaten Phoebus so they'll get more power points than Bayside...honestly this year all Woodside needs is a high seed to gain playoff confidence and they can knock off whoever is put in front of them. Would be nice for us both to be up in Charlottesville in December.

The thing that makes me mad about this story is that the kid was from First Colonial and they waited until after Ocean Lakes beat them and played 6 games to report this. I really think this is unfair because they knew all along and it seems like this was done on purpose to sabotage Ocean Lake's season.

There was a highly anticipated possible rematch with Oscar Smith, but...
