Does anyone have a preview for Powhattan?

I suspect they can hit the fire out of the ball if they scored 14 runs on Grafton with Grafton only having two errors. Also, with two homeruns last night, one would assume there is some power in the lineup. It's been a while since I've been to Powhattan's field, but is it small? I mean two homeruns for a high school team is a fair amount. Also, Grafton fans how did their pitcher throw on monday, for he will likely be throwing tomorrow. TIA

They lost to Spotslyvania and Tabb early,,,,but they put some double digit
runs (they scored 19 runs at least twice) up about half their games.

Big ole corn fed farmboys (with some urban sprawlers)

Yes their field is kind of on the small side. I have been there in the past, and unless they changed it, center field isnt too deep. Sure isnt as deep as Tabb or Poquosons center field

Their field is actually pretty good size. They also have about a 9 foot fence and maybe a 20 foot fence in Left. Their pitcher was alright. He was a side-arm lefty who threw fastball, change-up, and about a 2-8 curveball. Yes, they kill the ball. Their bottom 3 batters also hit homeruns. They definitely hit like a state championship team, and they have some pretty good pitchers. They have a kid that closes all of their games that throws maybe mid 80's with a nasty curve.

My apologies on the Powhatan field. You see, it was 2002 since i have last been there. And when i got there Friday, i discovered that they had sunk a ton of money into their complex and now have a very awesome facility
