From the schools. Normally the home school reports the information.

Re: High Schools: 10:45 p.m. Friday Update: Spring boxes and results

Home Runs are automatic standouts. What a pity the Kecoughtan coach wasn't classy enough to acknowledge it. Menchville had 2 earned runs. What a disappointment for a player to not be acknowledged for a good game because the coach is embarrassed to call it in? Shame on them.

Great info on the games they still dont have the box score right Huskey only gave up
3 hits and was 1 for 3 with a walk. If you read the story or was at the game she gave up 1 hit going into the seventh,1 hit in the seventh the double that scored the girl who reached on a error and then the bunt that we misplayed in the eighth. It was a great game Kristen Herndon the second baseman for Grafton made a couple of great plays and the shortstop for New Kent made a great diving catch behind 3rd base on a pop up
that looked like it was sure to fall. The re-match should be just as good.
