KHS needs to remember last year- they went into the last game of the season in first place needing only a tie, lost to WaHS and ended up in third place. This is a season in which it is hard to judge some teams, in part because MHS has been so inconsistent and a number of the big games are towards the end of the year.
Kecoughtan will crush Woodside, in my opinion. Woodside's signature victory is against Menchville in a game that was drastically altered by poor refereeing (not saying WoHS did not earn the victory - but you can not argue that a questionable red card and shaky PK call did not change the course of the game). The rest of their victories are against Bethel, Phoebus, and Hampton, not exactly the top tier of the district.

I think Kecoughtan will win by 3-4 goals.

Don't worry, I wont need any kleenex. If they lose, they lose. I have hopes for a good finish and that is all.

Assuming the other loss is to Denbigh eh? I think Bethel and Hampton will be decent games with Phoebus on top. Denbigh tying and playing the way they have against some teams, they could come away with the win but only time will tell.

Re: Final Predictions

With Menchville's loss to Bethel yesterday it changes everyones predictions. Also, Menchville will have to will their last two against Hampton and Heritage just to make it to Districts.

The result of the Phoebus Denbigh game Friday should also have a significant impact on the standings as Denbigh finishes its season against Gloucester (May 10) and Woodside (May 12)

All in all this year the Peninsula District has been the year of upsets and the unexpected. Has made for some very interesting games to watch and will make for a very interesting finish for Districts
