Re: who do you predict to win york - lafayette
On a wet grass field with the rain coming down on Friday (the game will be played even in the rain) the York passing game will be slowed down and the running game will not be quite enough. Lafayette will run, run, run with a few passes and will slip past York, Score? Depending on the exact weather conditions, Lafayette 27- York 24. BUT- the playoffs await both and to win here and lose in several weeks (like Grafton did to Lafayette a few years ago)is the real battle.

Looks like it should be a great game. Both offenses are superb, but I think if York's defensive front controls things as they've done all season, York wins. Finishing the tackle is as important as starting it.

Re: who do you predict to win york - lafayette
I guess my memory is fuzzy again because I remember both games being pretty exciting. Yes, we got the upper hand and won the region final but it was great to see both games which were fought hard to the end. I hope York and Laf have a great contest (but I still can't stand that air siren at Cooley when they score). BTW, I think a wet field favors a passing game so long as the quarterback has a strong arm and the offensive line has sound technique. The defensive backs can slip trying to react to the receivers' cuts and the pass rushers will have less traction. Good luck to both teams.
