Re: Perfect game

A seven-inning perfect game, as a matter of fact. Wish we had the resources to see when the last time somebody did that around here.

Congratulation!

Can anyone tell me why after Nate Matheson had his on Thursday the Daily Press said they (perfect games) abound? This young man and Nates are the only one I have heard of...are there others?

Well, that's two perfect games in one day. I'd say that qualifies as "abound." One in a season is pretty rare.

Re: Perfect game

This is the first time I can remember this happening in the PD.

From other Districts:

Keith Atherton of Mathews High School pitched several perfect games and no-hitters.
