Keenan Terry ran for 63 yards and scored a touchdown in Hampton Christian’s 42-0 win at Carlisle School in Martinsville. Ernest Holden, who ran for 37 yards, gave the Warriors (2-3) a 6-0 lead with a 6-yard scoring run in the first quarter. He added a 14-yard touchdown run in the second quarter as Hampton Christian led 21-0 at halftime.

Chaz Norman returned a punt 41 yards for a score and Blake Johnson’s 5-yard run and Brent Ausink’s 3-yard run completed the scoring for the Warriors. Ausink also had nine tackles.

Carlisle (0-4) was held to 24 yards of offense in the second half (eight rushing, 16 passing). This is Carlisle's first football team.

Oh well; good morale booster for Terry Laufer's squad. They really HAVE come a long way since their first day of football a couple of years ago.

Carlisle's restart of football might bear fruit in a couple of years; just look at Trinity Episcopal, who knocked off #6 Blessed Sacrament tonight in their third year back on the gridiron after a twenty year hiatus
