STORY: Christchurch wins

CHRISTCHURCH 34, ST. JOHN’S 7

Christchurch built a 27-point halftime lead and held St. John’s-Catholic Prep scoreless until the final two minutes, rolling to a non-district victory in Frederick, Md.

The Seahorses’ J.R. Furbert, Christchurch’s leading rusher, scored on runs of 2 and 9 yards, while T.J. Williams had a 19-yardstouchdown run and a 64-yard TD reception.

Deion Walker chipped in with a 33-yard reception from quarterback Sam Miller.
