SUSSEX CENTRAL 58, ARCADIA 16
Jabari Turner ran for 186 yards on 13 carries and scored three touchdowns in Sussex Central’s win over visiting Arcadia.

Sussex trailed 14-8 at halftime but outscored the Firebirds 44-8 in the second half.

Sharheem Taylor also went over 100 yards for Sussex (3-3), rushing for 129 and a score on 10 carries.

Thomas Gholson (82 rushing yards, one TD) and Kevin Perry (87 yards, three touchdowns) also contributed heavily for the Tigers.

Sussex intercepted three passes and returned two for scores.

Amil Graves had a 40-yard pickoff for a score, and Perry returned an interception 55 yards.

Travar Cropper’s 19-yard scoring run and Robbie Harris’ 2-yard TD run accounted for Arcadia’s points.

Arcadia fell to 2-4.
