WEST POINT 51, MIDDLESEX 34

Antonio Roane scored two touchdowns in the first quarter for West Point (5-1, 1-0 Tidewater District), which amassed 586 yards of offense in a home victory over Middlesex (0-6, 0-1).

Roane opened the scoring with a 58-yard pass from Josh Ammons. After the Pointers regained possession, Roane scored his final touchdown on an 85-yard run.

Roane finished with 230 yards of offense. Terron Parker added another 132 yards on 10 carries, with scoring runs of 8 and 74 yards. Ammons completed 4-of-6 for 115 yards and two touchdowns.

Middlesex’s Malcolm Ward scored two touchdowns for the Chargers and finished with 143 yards on 11 carries.

West Point led 28-12 before the tams combined for 45 points in the fourth quarter.
