Isle of Wight Ac. 54, Southampton Academy 13

Rusty Brake scored four touchdowns, Lance Moore added another three, and Isle of Wight Academy (7-1) cruised past host Southampton Academy.

Brake opened the scoring when he picked up a fumble and returned it 14 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. He also scored on a 7-yard run in the first period and a 57-yard run in the second, and on a 9-yard pass to Kevin King.

Brake finished with 79 yards on eight carries and was 7-of-10 passing for 93 yards.

Lance Moore finished with 106 yards on nine carries, including touchdown runs of 7, 6 and 36 yards.

Southampton Academy’s Robert Mark carried 22 times for 89 yards.
