Cleats?

Bunch of new boots have come out lately, definately too many for me to jump on and buy. I know a lot of people are into old school stuff like Vapor II's and Pred. Pulses, then others have the new Nike pre-ordered like a year before it even comes out. So, what do you wear? I'm a big fan of the Umbro X Boot 3s... talk about comfortable.

Re: Cleats?

I've never tried Vapors (as I said before, I switch between Umbro X Boot III and Nike Strike), but everyone seems to have them so I assume they're pretty sweet. Seen the Vapor 4's? http://www.footy-boots.com/nike-mercurial-vapor-4/ I'm definately not a fan. Look way too much like Tunits with giant Nike swooshes

Re: Cleats?

For indoor... Nike Total 90 Shoot lC one of the best pairs of indoor shoes ive had in a while and my favorite pair of cleats... Nike Air Legend SG. Ive had 2 pairs of these cleats and they are nice. Thinking about getting the news ones though

Nike Total90 Laser FG - Red/White/Black Firm Ground Soccer Shoes brother has these and they are nice. I wear them and the are comfortable.

I diss-like all the tunits stuff, to much maintence for a shoe. Honestly? does it really give you that big of an advantage to switch studs? and soles?

Re: Cleats?

Well, the idea of Tunits is a good one. I just think they're cheaply made, not very conducive to improving your touch, or very durable. SG studs are awesome for truly soft fields, but pretty much no fields around here are that nice. They may have grass, but it's rock hard underneath. Besides, I don't think VHSL is supposd to let people wear meal stud SG cleats, so I guess popping on the Tunit's SG studs is a way to sneak around that if you absolutely must have a different stud setup.
