where would a player like me fit in at smithfield

we're considerin movin out to smithfield from western branch.. im 5"6, good contact hitter, can hit for power, im a pretty good pitcher I can it 80 consistantly, and im an error free fielder, i play shortstop second base and catcher, if i do move out there, would i be on the team or start and all that good stuff

i would say go there and try it out. its hard to say that you would start without proving yourself first. i am sure that if your that good and you prove yourself you will get the chance to start.

well depemding on what grade you are and your skill level. if you a good enough player you could end up on varsity.

Smithfield isnt very good so yes you would start from what you said.

I would have to say you are the first person I have EVER heard ask if they could make the Smithfield baseball team. I hope you are not moving to Smithfield simply for athletics. Western Branch is in what I would consider the best baseball district in the state. If you really do throw 80MPH consistently, you will get some varsity starts. It all depends on what other pitches you have, placement, and lots of other things. Additionally, you should give your grade level. If you are an incoming freshman, you should and probably would play JV for a year.

Even if you throw a straight 85MPH fastball in the BRD, you will get knocked around by the better teams.

If you are decent and have a good work ethic, you will make the Smithfield club.
