Bill Weaver scored 19 points as Bethel (16-1, 12-1) retained sole possession of first place in the Peninsula District, winning 48-26 at home over Menchville. Weaver, bound for Brown University, hit a pair of 3-pointers, and Jontel Evans supported him with 11 points. The Bruins held the Monarchs to two points in the second quarter to take a 20-10 halftime lead.
