This isn't official, is it? The regular season isn't even over yet.

Tempting but I won't even get in this debate! Where' s the PD's leader in stls. rebs. & blks. among 2 guards at! He leads the district in stls. by far!

That's why, I don't know who's the one that keeps all the numbers, but that way no one would be slighted. Its only right, then you could get the correct people in the right places.

Also its not legit, its by Lloyd Hicks of Heritage. Wow you almost had me there, Sonny your actually co-signing this! Get some real people in here, pts. per game isn't the only thing that makes a player all district. What else does the player do that should qualify him for such a honor!

Re: Boys basketball: All-Peninsula District team

Some of you are straight up disrespectful!! For all of your information, this (along with the girls All-PD team) is the team that was voted on BY THE PD COACHES. You guys need to get your info straight before you start ripping Sonny Dearth, the Daily Press, or Mr. Hicks.

This is the type of response that led to the last Daily Press forum being cancelled. If you guys want to lash out, you are free to do so, but direct your anger at the proper people... THE COACHES.

To answer your questions, it is absolutely legit. This is the official team. Dwayne Peters, the Heritage AD, is in charge of the all-district selection meeting and next week's district tournament. Lloyd Hicks works at Heritage and usually furnishes us with the all-district football and basketball teams.

No one keeps district-wide statistics on anything other than points, so you cannot say that someone is the district leader in anything other than points and average per game.

In the future, before you accuse people of something, know your facts.

Another thing as you discuss this. DO NOT trash anyone who has been selected. Discuss the team, but if you rip someone who was selected, your message will be deleted.
