There has been a coaching change in the Menchville High softball program.

Longtime head coach Lisa Molineaux has resigned, and Tim Dragone has replaced her.

Dragone has coached the junior varsity team at Menchville the past several years.

"It’s not like he won’t be familiar with the players," Monarchs athletic director Greg Henderson said. "He will do a good job motivating the young ladies."

Menchville was 9-11 last season and finished sixth in the Peninsula District. The Monarchs went 15-7 and made the Eastern Region tournament the year before.
