Evan Rutherford beat Kunal Kapoor 6-4, 6-4 at the top spot as Hampton Roads Academy beat Nansemond-Suffolk Academy 8-1 in a match between league rivals that won't count in the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools standings. Harrison Suttle, Henry Arndt, Mathew Reiss and Prateek Reddy also won in singles for the Navigators. No. 2 player Ryan Spruiell gained NSA's only victory.
