apology

I apologize for the outcome i predicted in regards to the Bethel V. Phoebus boys varsity soccer match takin place friday April 4th. I apologize if i offended any persons that are affliated with Phoebus soccer. I am not capable of makin any predictions involving my team, becasue i cannot see the future. I misrepresented my school, my coach, and more importantly my team by predetermining the out come of this match before it is played. The result of this match and any other bethel soccer plays, will be determined on match day and match day only. Games will not be predicted anymore by anyone on the Varsity Boys Soccer team at Bethel High School

Re: apology

theres nothing wrong with predicting the outcome of a game.
i predict bethel to win 4-1.
but as long as nobody is bashing the other team for no reason, then there is no problem.

I agree with Karlo Goronja here, there isn't anything wrong with predicting the score of the game, unless you're saying it to talk smack.

Sounds like somebody got in trouble with their coach for predicting scores.

Re: apology

I agree....predictions don't mean anything unless it's used as a tool to talk trash. Other than that....no harm no foul.

Good luck on your season BHSballa.

Sounds like someone's got their panties in a bunch....lighten up coach, you have bigger fish to fry. Balla you shouldn't even be on here if your team is going to take away your freedom of speech. I think it will be Bethel 5-0.

Re: apology

The broad spectrum of responses that I see on this site are amazing. A player gets in trouble for going online and predicting a score, and several of you are questioning the coach?! It's the coaches program to run as they see fit. I'm glad that the coach made the young man apologize. It's one thing to talk trash person to person, but it's another thing to have it on a blog for everyone to see.

In order for athletes to be disciplined on the field, they must also be taught to be disciplined off the field. I commend this coach and any other coach who tries to do that.
