I'm trying to compile a list of youth teams from here who have played in the various Little League, Pony League, Cal Ripken world series.

I remember the York County team that played in the Senior League world series in 2006 and I can recall, I think, the Warwick Moose team that played in the Pony League world series in the early 70s.

Anyone know of others. I can research from our archives, if needed.

Did'nt Hampton Wythe go to the Little League world series with Royce Bowden in the 50's?

John Lundsford knows about the Hampton Little League team. He is a vice president for Suntrust Bank on Thimble Shoals/Cannon Blvd in Newport News. He could definitely shead some light on that team.
