Peninsula District tournament format
The tournament, always held at Huntington Park, will have 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. The spots are apportioned based on how teams finished in the regular season. The No. 1 team gets all six players in, the No. 2 team gets five, and the bottom teams get one each. Some of the teams in between get four in, others three, others two.
In doubles, the top team gets all three tandems into the draw, while the bottom teams get one. The teams in the middle get two each. The top two singles players and doubles teams for boys and girls advance to the Eastern Region tournament. |
