Congratulations to Poquoson for winning the BRD tournament. Great effort by the Poquoson players and coaches and a great game to watch. Good luck to Tabb, Grafton and Poquoson in the upcoming Regionals.

So most everyone knows about the insane run the Islanders made last year all the way to states, anyone think this year can be a repeat? And who is left to pitch? Anoguy, where are you at, you know a lot about Poquoson, who's going to be pitching and who's left to pitch? How far do you think they will go?

First game is Monday. So its well rested for Crockett.
They have a whole span of pitchers that can pitch. But only Crockett strikes from that group. One guy who has pitched earlier in the season and has done really well but was not pitching in the later games. Adam Posey. So maybe they'll add him to the group they have. They have the talent, and they want it more.
So lets see whats gonna happen.

Well I guess we'll see. It seems like the rotation or the order of pitchers is a wild one there in Poquoson. You've got the ace and rightfully so with Crockett, then Nixon has done well at times, Pinder of course, Schurz has shown toughenss and pitched well in that championship game, Hoogstraten has made a few appearences and it seems like that's it for the pitchers. The Hill boy is young and is still working, and then Posy has pitched a few quality innings. If the Islanders make a run in the tournament they're gonna need those two guys. Any reason on why Bennett hasn't had them throwing a little more?

inexperience and not being an actual "pitcher", they are more considered "throwers." Pitching strikes is the name of the game and i dont know if those two young men are capable of that. the veteran nixon and young "pitcher" crockett hold down the rotation. Be careful of pinder tho, he has some sick stuff and someone to watch out for in the next 2 years.
