Looking for the next generation of young tennis stars on the Peninsula? Many of them could be found at the Level 3 Salisbury Country Club Training Center Classic in Midlothian from April 13-15.

Dennis Afanasev of Williamsburg, as tough a 10-and-under as you'll find around these parts, was a semifinalist in his division.

Also competing were Joshua Carnohan of New Kent County and Williamsburg players Tonya Malyarenko, Kurt Mittmann and Maxim Paskalutsa.
